THE COSTA DEL SOL/MALAGA REGION
Literally translated the name means the "sunny coast", and it doesn't disappoint! With over 300 days of sun a year it is hardly surprising that it is one of the top UK holiday destinations. Whilst the sun is a major attraction, there is a lot more to the Costa del Sol than relaxing by a pool.
The area boasts the birthplace of Picasso, a wide variety of wineries and olive presses, not to mention a whole host of theatres, museums, exhibitions, and shops. The landscape is also a stunning feature of the area with everything from mountains to prehistoric caves! All this and much, much more awaits you in the home of Flamenco!

Benahavis is a place where history and natural delights come together. It has preserved its Arab heritage, in the style of the Pueblos Blancos (white villages), in perfect harmony with the colours of the surrounding mountains.
